I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with OCD. This is a mental health question...I am not convinced spirituality could help. Please seek therapy in your area, you don't have to live with this for the rest of your life. Gem is right.

If you wanted to go the MD route Luvox is excellent for OCD,
control issues...which turn into irritability, depression, self loathing...ha, no friends, LOL.

I do think the brain chemistry changes when you study and 'believe'
or truly, deeply trust in a loving God...why?
Because then instead of you being in control of your environment ...
you truly smile and are free, trusting (whatever you call It) the Universe,
Source Energy, Krishna, your Father Creator?

But, this can't be a passing, faddish belief in some doctrine...
it has to be a profound trust or knowing...thus, the subconscious mind
changes things.

I am just sayin...that, combined with Luvox for a few months only can/could/may really help.
I'm no doctor...but I know a couple things.

And, yes, a good therapist for a few sessions, not long term even...
A quicker process would be one that incorporates EMDR or EFT, also.
(They can be googled.)

You say you have been diagnosed so you have at least sought medical help. If your looking for spiritual options healing may be able to help somewhat. I had a look and your aura is one dark cloud of fear and insecurity. I rather think this started as a past life issue but it has obviously taken over your life as well. I can do a remote healing for free if you want. See if and how much it might help? I would expect it may give you a break from the fear but long term change would require major changes in your thinking patterns and the way you respond to the world. Might be possible. Healing would help but the major work would be up to you. do you want to be fearless? Can you be fearless? That is what it would take. A conscious decision to not let fear run your life anymore. Whether by healing and spiritual growth or therapy... That is the path
