instead of meditating

but he is still paying attention
when the angels
talk to him

and trying to learn

and now
one of the many things he learned was

it seems like
he is equally guilty
of everything
he complained about
with his twin

maybe in some ways
he is even more of a witch
than she is...

he gets to eat crow

Hmmm... yes indeed, I need to begin listening when I am skating.
Last time I swapped meditation for skating I got some very wonderful advice on my skating technique as well as some fantastic life advice.

Also, witches are cool again... I mean the days of burning and drowning them are well in the past now. They make potions and tinctures from botanicals.

Good advice, to not get stuck on something for too long... well, popular psychology says that whatever story we repeat becomes part of our identity LOL... I am laughing because some of my mental addictions have been harder to change then others...

It's also good to take stock of how far you've travelled, it provides excellent contrast, perspective and direction.

disheartened...
they always take him wrong...

but he's sorry for the way he came off.

he really wasn't trying
to start a fight

It is just that,
after all
noone in the 'real' world wants him
but he is supposed to think
some random celebrity
can look beyond all the fame and fortune
and all the wonderful things that they have
and see him sitting here
and even want him?

It is a tall ask to believe such things
any more

oh they say
unquestionably
what you believe
will become true

but
he is very tired
of having to put his energy
into doing something very hard
to get something
he should have just had anyway

and then
in the end
only to have
it taken from his grasp
once again

and if he wants it back
after that
his life will be even harder

somehow,
it is coming to his mind
that maybe
just maybe
it is time to do without
all the things
people are telling him
he MUST want.

of chasing
around after those
who won't be caught

it just hurts his head
all the ways
they can make him squirm
when he does that.

but he is disheartened
because
today
he doesn't feel like
he can even communicate
without
them yelling at him
for one thing or another.

There was a reason he was
(and still is)
scared to talk.

much easier not to make waves
if you don't want the water
to turn back
and drown you
than it is
to deal with the certainty
that something bad
will be coming next.

that god showed me the wisdom
in not grubbing around after whatever it is

he is very tired

are empty, meaningless words

or nice words
that neverless eventually get twisted
in such a way
as to bring disastrous things

that make him feel awful...

he is no longer going to pretend
