Oh but Red, footy is the only sport that creates such emotion.
( I'm not talking about thuggery, just raw emotion)Can't imagine this intense level of emotion at golf or ping pong or even the Olympics !!!

You are soooooo right AB. The emotions run so thick and fast in a game, but that’s what I love about it. I love it when there is a bit of agro as well, spices things up a bit.
Funny how it’s become the “Worlds Game”. Just about every country are football mad now. It’s surprising there isn’t the same interest in America as there is in the rest of the world although a few of there players are playing in the Premier League but not many. I think Beckham is trying to do something about that tho.
I did t think we had a big following in Australia but when LFC came out here a. Couple of years ago, they had 96,000 turn up to the stadium and they were belting out YNWA at the top of their voices. I was there. It was brilliant!
LFC have to play Thursday and Saturday this week and I think a few other clubs do as well. The poor sods are going to be knackered. Thank god we got our injured players back to rotate. We just gotta get our goal difference up!

Red, I think there's more interest in USA nowadays but their "football" was always more like rugby .
My boys love it.... Me, it goes right over my head (bit thick ) ....
But USA do better now in what I call "normal football"...
Our Gemma was in England squad in women's footy , then she moved to USA to play their , and now she's back home playing for Liverpool as I've probably said before although she's knocking on a bit now ( will be 33 on July 13 th )......
But hey yes lads .... Where you all at ???
Please come back on board ( I'll beg if you want but please note I charge for my services LOL)... Otherwise it will just be me and Red in my ""it's all in the ball"" comp which is coming up soon for the Euros ....

Yeah I’ve seen what they call “American football”. And I loathe it. Just not as exciting as the world game imo
