I'm saying it is not a speed. Speed is relative. From any object c is the same, not relative
The constant itself is not a quantifiable thing, so we just call it speed.

I don't know, please tell me why the ratio of space and time is not always the same.

because the universe does not evolve in space and time.
it is time and space that evolves or unfolds.

I thought you were gonna explain the thing in a more illustrative way.

The other thing is, an object in accelleration has no speed (if it comes to inertia it does though) speed is relative but acceleration is constant.
When we measure c we assume the observer is at inertia, (or at a speed).
Some weird stuff goes on with interacting the constant of acceleration and the constant c, but I do not see that alters either constant.
If the speed of light in space as measure from any inert object were to change, why would it do so?

because space is not always in it's present density.
imagine that c is the rate that space is being created.
that is 300 km of space expands or contracts per second.
billions of years ago, space is denser than the present time.
so the constant c may be a little less than what is now today because of the resistance of a denser space.
as space expands in time, it becomes less and less denser, and c may go higher than the present constant value due to a less resistant from a lighter density of space.
so c is always constant but not its value.

I see belief as something personal. If you do believe that God exists and you gain personal trust that God exists, in time it develops into faith. Then maybe you test your faith, occasionally stumble and fall, until you find your wings of faith and fly free. Just my personal opinion.

One is a symbolic construct used in the aid of counting.
Light is not a speed at all. It is a constant. If you travel 1000 mph light is the same speed as if you travel 2000 mph.
Light speed is approx 300,000 metres per second, it doesn't change 'speed' thus it is constant, It does not speed up, time is constant to it because motion is constant to it.
You seem to know little about the constancy of light.
|
Actually recent studies have produced evidence that suggests the speed of light is indeed changing over time. On a side note we have also found particles that can communicate thier state to one another instantaneously over any distance, thus dethroning light as the fastest moving force in the universe. Of course mystics have known for thousands of years that thought moves faster than light and that spirit moves faster still.
The interesting thing is that, as you say, time is constantly relative to light so perhaps time is also accelerating. Interesting times.
With Love,
athribiristan
