if big bang was true, the expansion of the universe should slow down.
but observation is on the contrary. it's accelerating.

Laws like gravity, attraction, etc.

Science isn't 100% accurate, and if some equation dictates the universe should slow down but isn't, doesn't necessarily make the big bang theory false.

The Big Bang theory is the best model we have at the moment. If you have a better one then publish it and it will be considered.

why should big bang be equated with the expanding universe? common sense? but can we differentiate gravity force from acceleration using our common sense?

for example, if we are in an enclosed elevator in space, and the elevator is accelerating, we can feel our feet pushing against the floor of the elevator. thus , meaning to us, acceleration is equivalent to gravity pull.

so if we perceived gravity when it is in fact acceleration and since we can't tell one over the other, is it possible that what we perceived the acceleration of the universe as nothing but gravity force?

if acceleration is just gravity, then we may be living in a dynamic ( breathing) steady state universe.

I was listening to a rock show on the radio several years ago; and during the commercial break there was an advertisment that talked about the big bang theory. It basically said that the big bang theory was a dying speculation and they asked if anyone had any ideas about how the universe started to send them to some scientific institute who had made the commercial.

If this doesn't make one sit up and take notice of the scientific cons that are being preached in many classrooms, universities and T.V. stations like the discovery channel. Then I don't know what would wake a person up.

Maybe big bang wasn't only in physical realm and God was created as a result of big bang?

I dunno what 'God's Laws' exactly mean but regarding gravity and attraction they are not as absolute as to be the cause of the world's creation.

All the Big Bang is is an observation that the Universe is expanding from a single point.

Wow. It really would be a good idea to learn up about these things from more reliable sources.

The increased rate of the expansion of the universe does not dismiss the Big Bang theory. The universe is not expanding from a single point. There is no one center that the universe is expanding from. Galaxy clusters that are not gravitationally interacting due to their distance from each other are all pulling apart from each other. Inertia is not the only cause of this. Gravity is just one force that does one thing. Something else causes objects to pull apart instead if they are far apart enough that this force has more influence than gravity. Scientists are on their way to learning more about this force, which for now they often call 'dark energy'. There is no law that the universe has to start decreasing in size again, because there is this force other than gravity that becomes more influential across long distances. Once they learn more, since we still have a lot to learn, I expect we will find that the laws of physics dictate that the universe must expand at an accelerated rate.

Trying to use what you think is logical with no scientific background will not lead you to the truth about this matter. What you think is common sense will be useless, because the laws of physics were not the same as they are now before the Big Bang. Before the Big Bang, we didn't even have 3 spacial dimensions yet. Gravitation had not yet split off from the other fundamental forces.

No that is not accurate.

May I draw everyones attention to the word "Theory". It is an extrapolation of current knowledge.
