thoughts please :)

last night I had a dream that I was going to see my daughter (she's 18) in the dream she didn't live with me (in life she does)..I was speeding across town trying to get to her and it felt like it was going to take forever- then next thing I knew I was riding a bike taking my time and I was there quickly. She was in a cluttered little trailer laying down crying and she looked just like my sister when she was a kid. then I woke up. any input would be appreciated. :) thank you for reading

Symbolically, it seems to indicate that she is feeling distanced, vulnerable and in need. If you are unaware of this, could you perhaps be detecting this sub-consciously?

That could be the case. I was also thinking that it was telling me that trying to "speed" there would be counter productive. That I should maybe move more slowly or deliberately?

Yes, I overlooked the changover in mode of transport - that reads accurately to me. Of course, we are the best judges of our own dreams but others can provide useful pointers at times.

Amy, I am so grateful for your insight. I always take something away from the things that you post. Thank you :)

I interpret this as a good dream, as bicycles require balance and make us more vulnerable and open to others, as opposed to cars. This dream says to me that you are approaching a matter with your daughter from a balanced, open stance. This approach that you are taking is similar to one that you used in your sibling relationship, as well, as your daughter resembled your sister in the dream. The trailer would indicate to me that this is an important matter to your daughter, but it is not a long-term situation, as trailers tend to lack foundations. I hope this helps.

Thank you Sojourner. It was my sister that had me the most confused and actually concerned. :)
