Moments that take our breath away
Quote:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by those moments that take our breath away - George Carlin

Let me start with the moment of the vision of the Sky Mother Goddess, my most beautiful experience.
Please, don't hesitate to share yours,
it can be out of love, out of fear, out of wonder, or something so incredible!
I bet, there's quite a bit of jawbreaking photos stashed out there...

Quite simply, the presence of a rainbow always takes my breath away.

Ok........how about when someone on American Idol or The Voice has that something special and belts out a song that gives you chills.
Music often takes my breathe away.

Music - yeah - Beethoven's pastoral sympthony -
I'm somewhat a fan of English countryside and am easily quietened by beautiful views.
But what really rocks for me is desert energy - Egyptian. Love it. The rocks, the sand, the crysals in the sand. Amazing.

To lie back on a sun warmed rock side as the briefest of breezes cool my face, seeing small white clouds dance far above and create quickly shifting patterns, my boots still wet from walking across grassy marshes where the last crunchy bits of winter's snow still lingers in the shadowy edges at midsummer.

The day I married my wife. Standing on the river bank taking our vows. Will be married ten years this year.

When my husband looks at me and smiles that wonderful and loving smile. That always takes my breath away.

I had one of those good moments when I went to France a couple of years ago.
I went to the Louvre and entered the room with GINORMOUS paintings all over the walls. (I don't even remember their names) My knees were weak and it took me a while to catch my breathe.
