I got through most of the Bond film 'Goldeneye' last night, for nostalgia as much as anything - I can't enjoy these loud action films any more, I prefer more reflective, thoughtful films nowadays.

Although having said that, I got the Alfonso Cuaron film 'Roma' on bluray for a Christmas present, and I still haven't gotten around to rewatching that yet (I first saw it a fews years back). Not sure I've quite got the sensitivity (or the attention-span, more to the point ) to appreciate it at the moment, even if it is probably the most beautiful film, both visually and also in terms of its story, that I've ever seen.

You have good taste.
I think I've seen every goofy movie she's been in and all the romantic ones.

Thumbs up

Old Boys (on TV) Heavily derived from Cyrano de Bergerac but lively and funny/quirky. It centers on a nerd who falls for a french young lady but is involved in a triangle. Well made and well cast.
