Strange Website-Browser Combo Problem

On one web browser, I get the error message, "Sorry, your administrator has banned your IP address." I cannot post, cannot even read the public forums, and cannot even log out! I'm logged in, but I'm not logged in. (I was using a VPN.) I was given the opportunity to contact the administrator, but no response after two days.

So, I decided to try another web browser, was able to login, and I'll see if I can post this.

VPNs disguise a user's IP Address and website software may reject them because of historical problems. I don't allow VPNs on my website and ask users to approach the site using a regular browser.

Not everyone knows what a VPN is....and why would they?!

A VPN (virtual private network) is a service that creates a safe, encrypted online connection.
Internet users may use a VPN to give themselves more privacy and anonymity online or circumvent
geographic-based blocking and censorship.

A VPN is fine provided websites dont deny your access, sign up etc. They may, however, slow down one's web connection resulting in tedious waits for pages to load. They DO though allow anonymous browsing and can circumvent some geographical restrictions and censorship if that's a particular need.

For regular users of forum-based websites and/or general web browsing they offer no particular value.

I'll just use the browser that works, with no VPN. This site is very safe.
