Amy Winehouse, one of the best connected female vocalists of recent times, had it all. Composition and execution, goes without saying other stuff got in the way. Wonder what she might have written had she lived longer. I would have liked to meet her, hopefully next time. :) May she be happy and well. Her depiction here in this song of the pitfalls of 'Romantic Love' is incredible, a work of genius really.

I know this might sound a bit Strange but I heard Tina Turner the otherday on the Car radio and I have to say i was touched by her voice perhaps for the first time, as didn't rate her at all growing up ..actually hated her lolol. But take away the razzmatazz etc. and you hear quite a beautiful soulful low voice. Very nice. LETS STAY TOGETHER BABY !!!!! :)
