Because that's not the intention, to eat ''pretend meat''.
It's just another food source.

It doesn't matter that soy milk is called 'milk'. It's just another thing to drink or put in the coffee, which just looks, because of colour, like milk. Calling a veggie sausage a 'sausage' is just a form that we associate with the word. There's also flesh tomatoes and pizzas without cheese.

If we carried on you would be drinking a manmade coffee substitute with a soya substitute-imagin what that would taste like and compare it to the taste notes of the Vedic milk,I know no one who enthuses about soya taste or even most normal cow milk as they do about the Vedic type,and that isn't even the best Vedic milk in the article plus the taste is secondary to the spiritual and food value-so no matter what third class scientists or philosophers say I will listen to my own instincts backed up by first class Vedic experts-dont keep being hoodwinked.
