I would like to express my appreciation towards music. As individuals we all hear songs differently and each song means something different to us. Music never fails to lift the spirits. I would like to share this link which will make you appreciate music even more - http://www.whymusicmatters.org/videos

Music is my religion ... I love the Nick Cave Video .
Weird when I worked in America I didn't really appreciate him . However when I bumped into him at Sainsburys Spirit moved me and boom I saw him disappear into a friends house .. free gigs t shirts and cds . Sadly thats all in the past as that connection passed away to the spirit world but I still love his music x

today i would like to express my gratitude to the little goat which made its way over to where i was sitting eating my lunch. It took the liberty of jumping up on the seat beside me(at an animal farm) and started to nuzzle into my neck lol I wasnt sure how to respond at first and so i just said hello and patted it like you would a dog and it seemed to like that ... it then tried to 'climb' on me lol ... some days I appreciate my work more than other days ... it was extra nice in a way because it didn't appear that food was its motivation as it showed no interest in my sandwich ... it was delightful

Today I had the wonderful privilege of caring for a little 18 month old boy while his mum was attending an appointment. We were in the car, parked ... just biding our time in the shade ... his mum had left him some snack food ... i gave him an arrowroot biscuit and he squealed with delight and greeted it like you would an old friend whom you haven't seen for half a lifetime ... he gazed into its 'bake holes' with love in his eyes and he babbled and squealed 'at it' obviously sharing the story of his life lol ... it was very special to 'be' witness to it, and left me feeling that we so easily forget to allow those simple pleasures in life to be 'appreciated i guess ... the fact that he then proceeded to scream all the way back to the service took nothing away from what had unfolded 10 minutes earlier

One of my most revealing moments of appreciation came today in the form of tears actually. A very close friend was moved to tears in her efforts to defend herself and for some reason i found that very humbling and honest. She was not afraid to risk appearing weak in the eyes of the one doing the finger pointing and she stood her ground while allowing her emotions to be 'understood' ... it was truly enlightening for myself as an outsider looking in ... not an easy experience to describe without going into intricate detail which isn't necessary for many reasons, however it is certainly worthy of note for what it symbolized at the time of reckoning.
