Aw ..... thanks Gracey !! .... It's a very colourful balloon isn't it !! Thats what drew me into attempting to paint it.
Yes, I am pleased with how the tree turned out .... I was looking at all the big trees at the end of the street as I was painting it. Its suprising how many shades and layers there seems to be when you really look ....

Hi everyone !! 
Finally managed to find time to "Splodge" some paint today ........
Here's my latest offering ....... a Birch Tree wood scene.
I got the idea from a photo I found on the net last week ...... this painting is a bit larger than the first 3 though, as I thought it needed the extra size to get all the trees in.
It measures 16 x 12 inches, painted on canvas board ...... I'm well pleased with the result ...... not bad for an afternoons work !! ........

I was wondering when we would be seeing another one of your works of art and voila ! here it is !
Very nice, I do like the birch trees and the fall coloring !
I was wondering if you might do a painting from your vacation ? perhaps a beach scene ?
