Good for the soul !!!!!

THANK YOU NEIL.

Yes, plenty of fun is had on Soccer Saturday, but on the other hand, it’s also really informative and the pundits’ opinions are always interesting.

Oh gosh yes...
We tune in to see what's going on with the games/ scores as crucial viewing .
But the fun adds that extra ingredient !!
( Wonder what the viewing figures are ? Hmm might need to check on that )....

I’m not sure what the viewing figures are exactly, but it’s a Saturday afternoon programme, so they’ll be pretty good.

And if the James Brown moment was one of the funniest, then this one is definitely the best. Watch it right the way through as you’ll appreciate the finale even more.

Thank you Neil.

I try not to be too sectarian in my football fandom, and appreciate all clubs, teams, countries and competitions, but I do like the trophies to go round, rather than the same clubs winning them all of the time. My Dad and me watched this game, both as happy neutrals, but when Dzeko scored, we both looked at each other and said something like;

“ Imagine if they scored NOW, “

And then Aguero did. We both looked at each other again and laughed wryly. It was a fantastic moment. You don’t have to be a Manchester City fan to appreciate something like this.

Haha.... You are very "diplomatic" LOL...
But yes, in general Im the same , respect to all.
We like to grumble of course about the opposition, but that's human nature .
Sometimes it's not the club / manager/ players that have a bad rep, but the fans !
And that's a shame.

Something similar happened today. Not quite as dramatic as Man City winning the league, but Arsenal v Bournemouth had a spectacular and unexpected winning goal in stoppage time, which engendered a similar reaction. The noise generated by the crowd there was something else I have been told. It could also be the moment which gives Arsenal real belief that they can go on and win the league.

Awesome win for Arsenal. So glad to see them stay at the top of the chart. Arteta has done a great job with that team.

Newcastle and Tottenham both have a loss which helps our cause a lot. We just have to win tonight against Man U.

Can’t believe how good Fulham has done this year unbelievable. Just came out of the sticks and are now in the top five! Would be good for them to be in the Europa champs this year.

Arsenal allowed an early goal only the second in premier history .....
Then that very late winner , as you say, 7 minutes into extra time after the 90.
Can only imagine the mixed emotions of all the Arsenal fans !

Absolutely. Arsenal have some real resilience this season, so conceding that early goal wouldn’t have phased them too much. They have become used to scoring late goals, and once the pulled it back to 2-2 there was a sense of inevitability about the winner. They’re like Man Utd used to be under Sir Alex. One of my old workmates was at the game and he said the crowd reaction was nuts. The loudest he has heard it at The Emirates in fact. I’m starting to think that they might go on and win the title now. Every time they get tested they pass.
