Thank you for sharing the link Visitor, it is fascinating how varied our experiences can be in the Coming of Consciosness.
I agree that there is no end state to it all, it just keeps unfolding and unfolding, sometimes quietly sometimes in ephiphanys, sometimes through earth and mind shattering events.
The more we experience the more we know that we don't know anything!

I can relate to the quote, to a point. There is a difference between knowledge and a 'knowing'. Knowledge is this and that, but 'knowing' is everything. Another analogy is ....

I have worked as a counsellor for a long time. Most of my clients are alcoholics and drug addicts. Many who enter a rehab have dangerously low self-esteem (suicidal). My goal is to build up their self-esteem enough for them to no longer need it.
