We can call it ''the Roman Creed'' or conjure sinister conspiracies of Romans against the people, but fact remains much of what is in the Creed is based upon what was written down in the Gospels. Much of the Creed therefore isn't theologically controversial. It can be controversial from other perspectives, i.e. from a scientific point of view, such as the virgin birth, 'son of God', risen from the dead. However, theologically it is sound.

I agree pretty much. :)

My only thing is always the same ---just because science has not figured something out YET -
say, how a person could walk on water or transform his body from
dead to 'risen', doesn't mean it isn't sound or could not possibly happen.

I believe there is no magic, no miracles ---just what people do not understand YET.

I never heard of Christians throwing gays off buildings........ nor any of the other stuff you claim.

Surely, you are not saying Jesus taught such stuff.

Please stop claiming I promote religions that "hate everyone you hate" because that is not true.
