I went to a rural school in which our graduating class had only 32 students.
At that time, none of us had every seen a computer.
Within a month after graduating, I not only saw my first computer (an IBM mainframe) but got to use it as I learned about a half dozen computer languages. I did all of this while still a teenager.
I suspect others have embraced technology like I did. What an era.

One of the actors would later play one of the Cat Woman roles in the Batman Tv Series.

Does anyone remember going to the local chicken farm to ask for cracked eggs ???
My mother used to send me and my brother with a bowl and a shilling.
It's a wonder we're not all dead !

I don't remember. I am surprised you survived.
McDonalds claims they used cracked eggs but they aren't the ones you are talking about. LOL!
I do remember my Mother worked for a while on a chicken farm. She did the candling in which a bright light would be shined thru the egg for imperfections.

I now get my eggs from Lidl, they have white ones of mixed sizes in a clear plastic box, free range 6 for a quid.
The cat loves a boiled egg!

Can't remember last time I saw a white egg !!
Which reminds me ..
Can you all remember white dog poo ?
Never seen that now !
(Apparently it's to do with dog food and it's more modern day ingredients !)

For a time...... I would not eat chicken eggs.
What I ate was double yoke duck eggs. They came from my own ducks. They were huge and delicious!
