Karma doesn't mean punishment, but it's the simply the law of cause and effect... you reap what you sow.

Taking responsibility for yourself means making better choices.

I would call them evil....evil.....evil...

It's more that what they are doing is 'evil.'

Prejudiced View Of Light As Metaphor For Love???

The Light is often used as a metaphor for higher dimensional energies, including, but not limited to love. JOY & empathy are among others.

I'm not sure why seeing the light as love is prejudiced.

Karma Not About Punishment Or Rewards

Karma isn't about punishment or rewards, but seeing multiple sides of an issue, finding balance.

Polarity Terms Of Good-Bad, Dark-Light Not All That Useful

Good-bad & ‘dark souled’ are terms worth examining. These are polarized thinking. As if there is a line on which one side is good & on the other side is bad. This duality thinking is promoted by organized religion which benefits from these polarized views of things. Much of organized religion has promoted the disinformation that we are born inherently flawed (sinners). Very problematic POV.

We can benefit from looking at energy in a more nuanced manner as a matter of frequency instead or good-bad. Or useful or not productive. When we look at things as only fitting into the positions of good-bad or dark-light, this limits us severely in many ways. It gives a moral connotation of good-bad to things where this doesn’t apply. It discards the infinite positions between the polarized positions. It promotes an Either-Or view instead of the more nuanced, considered view that all factors may be active in varying degrees.

Moving Past Very Limited View Of The Either-Or Of Duality

Useful view that a more nuanced view than the polarized options of dark-light or good-bad provides a deeper look at things.

Just so you know, I only take responses seriously if...

a) they're at least vaguely comprehensible and
b) they don't claim to state truth... without indicating how this 'truth' was arrived at.

People have 2 sides, and they're required, and I am one who opened a space where from above was light and below was deep darkness, so I was between these things an also in and of them.

The question is, what's dark about evil? Is there such a thing or do we create with our judgement, and is it our perspective that's dark? So many people talking about balance, but what's the wider view? All this good in the world, so many positive thoughts but nobody wants to think about the negative. That's contradictory with balance, is it not? If there is a God that is the embodiment of all that's good, doesn't it stand to reason there's an embodiment of all that's evil? Few people want to go there, they judge it as evil and there it stops, like a self-imposed barrier. No talk of how so-called evil acts can change someone's Life completely for the good. It seems there is little exploration of that and people intentionally keep themselves in the dark.

I believe that Spirit has a very different perspective on evil and good, that it's not a judgement but an experience. If we did not choose what experiences we would have when we become incarnate, does that mean our climb up that Spiritual ladder is a matter of chance due to random acts? Our Spirituality then becomes a product of the chaos. If one act of evil turns someone deeply Spiritual, is that an entirely random act or was it planned? Was it so evil after all? I like to think there are reasons for everything that happens to us, including what we would term as evil. If not, then Spirituality is a lottery.
