Thanks, Khali...we'd (Miss Hep would) like her to return if you ever feel the urge to write to her.
(Pretty please.)
Some of the meanies are gone, tell her.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

She said something like this place wasn't for her any more. I also recall her saying she looked for others that understood Hinduism the way she did.

It's actually very easy to know why Shivani Devi is not posting regularly now.

She said it multiple times in the last months, and in one of her last posts, reiterates:

"I am holding back and holding out on you all a LOT here, because I am mindful that I need to be very careful with what I say. My posts and threads have a habit of disappearing around here."

And she also wrote a Goodbye note in August 2020:
Quote:

Even though I have personally 'outgrown' this site, moving on to a totally different path in my life now, I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank both the staff and members of SF for providing the means and support for my reaching this deep awareness and spiritual catharsis.

Schools are very important for teaching lessons...yet once the lesson has been learned, the school should remain open to teach others until they too, graduate to the next level of spiritual sovereignty and autonomy. It is wonderful to still have places which support and help those who feel they honestly need it....thank you!

I shall make a modest donation next month when finances permit as a token of my appreciation and still pop in every month or so, because even though I have crossed many bridges on here, I don't believe in burning them behind me.

May SF and all who use it see many joyous and prosperous years to come. God bless.

Aum Namah Shivaay.

Before that, in June 2020, she said (excerpts):

"I am still around my brother, not as active online anymore...part of my developing discernment (viveka) over what urgently requires my attention vs what does not.

Yes, silence and solitude are very important things right now...

I haven't been around much because I was tired of discussions on here devolving into arguments when I just couldn't be bothered arguing merely for the sake of fostering worthwhile discussion...just the same old people making the same old points I was honestly tired of reading...I felt like I was digging myself further into a rut....I needed solitude which didn't include SF...and I still do....I felt as if there is/was no reason for me to BE here...so after 5 years, I wanted to find out if NOT being here made any difference....and I feel that after a fortnight, it is still too early to tell.

I still check in every few days....see if there is anything requiring my attention...see if anybody has responded to any of my posts or mentioned my name...and today, I found this thread...so here I am replying to it.

Take care and peace to you and all.

Aum Namah Shivaya"

I know of others who do not post here because of disappearing words and sentences.

Incidentally, I have found that the moderation on this forum is menial, detailed, at times intrusive. Love Miss Hepburn and all the team, but relaxing a bit might help the ambience in what is no doubt a challenging role.

Best wishes,
JL

Thanks. It is much clearer now as to what happened to her.
