Just to give yous a choice to like one song or the other or both or neither …
Even though non-duality is the truth of our non-existence – paradoxically we are not the same and have different likes and dislikes …

It is Taoism – and definitely nondual …. but as such - it is of course barking at the same tree as Zen …
Another one by him:
When there is a non-dual moment with another person or even with an animal – there is no boundary between self and other, so ‘direct inner knowing - silent communication’ just happens ….

I am reminded:
I once was doing busy work and smelled a fragrance I had not smelled in a while.
It pulled at me so I followed it.
It led me to a room and I peeked in and there was an old Navajo man and
he was sitting with a smudge of desert juniper.
He looked up, welcomed me with his eyes and I smiled and sat down.
3 minutes or so later I got up nodded and left.
Not a word was spoken but we both understood that it was a sacred moment of
coming together sharing company and sharing smoke and fragrance.
A needed time out and relaxing from busy work.
I then went back to doing busy work refreshed and light.

Yep – yep.
Sounds like some indigenous Elders I know/have known.
Just one look & no other cues, instructions, words, teachings are needed to know what is/what to do.

I liked your “ego becomes friends with no ego” – from another thread. That is a fresh way of saying it.
Yet of course Buddhism teaches egolessness ….
At first one is full of the separate-self id or one’s id effectively is the dual barrier, but then when one re-discovers or realizes the non-self or the no-self or non-duality ( dimension of awareness) then the self is no longer the problem, it no longer obscures anything …
But back to the Zhuangzi, who apparently … (and ImthatIm was right & I’m learning it here):
Quote:
The Zhuangzi also played a significant role in the formation of Chan ("Zen") Buddhism, which grew out of "a fusion of Buddhist ideology and ancient Daoist thought."

Here is another beauty ... ahhhhhhhh:
*
Basho:
All along this road
not a single soul—only
autumn evening
*
Nobody achieves non-duality, even the path to it is non-existent ….

I almost felt that.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

What is your strategy?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mq10ZvZgxy4
4 Strategies:
1) “Carving and polishing” – kinda like how to work with your subconscious ….
2) “The Uncarved Block” – anti the hypocrite priests “Speaking from the Heart” – doing the “Goodness Practice” that is sooooooo unnatural …. & just be your blooming uncarved self!….
3) “Cultivate the Sprouts” - ?
4) “Empty the Mind and go with Spirit” - !!!

I don't mind any of the 4. I guess it depends on the variables and situations.
I have probably done each one at the wrong time according to some.
I live and learn.

Blending with the wind,
Snow falls;
Blending with the snow,
The wind blows.
By the hearth
I stretch out my legs,
Idling my time away
Confined in this hut.
Counting the days,
I find that February, too,
Has come and gone
Like a dream.
