I'm very familiar with Tai Chi and Qigong, been practicing for nearly 30 years and have seen/recieved/taught the many health benefits of doing so.

Qi Gong (for health not the martial arts) practitioner here too!

I'm also digging into acupuncture, it's very effective.

I'm flabbergasted that the western medicine has treated all ailments with drugs and chemicals, and also surgery, while stimulating a few points can solve everything.

I'm exaggerating because acupuncture is still considered a woo-woo medicine in many places.

Thanks, Guillaume, What you said is True. And like I said, Science is a good thing, but people seems to be brainwahsed too much by it, even lots of people becoming superstitious on science thinking in the way that if it is not able to be well explained by science, then it must be fake. Even U.S. Defense army have started to use acupuncture for their soldiers.

It looks like Steven Novella doesn't know what is the basis of acupuncture and how it works. Allow me to give a short explanation:

1. Meridians exists inside the human body;

2. Life Energy (the Chi) also exists, and it stores and moves inside the Meridans;

3. One of the features of Life Energy is that it will be attracted by metallic materials, just like iron will be attracted by magnet, and the attraction force is so strong. （Why the acupuncture needles are metallic rather than plastic or wooden, or made of something else? It is a fact, no one knows why, and science, even deny the existance of life energy and meridians, not to mention the features of life energy.）

4. When the metallic needle is penetrated into the Meridian space and be in close contact with the Life Energy, all the life energy at the surrounding meridians of that particular acupuncture point will be strongly attracted and rush into the acupuncture point in a second making people feel sore and swollen at the point which means this particular acupuncture is a success and effective. (Normally, acupuncturist will ask the patient whether he feels sore and swollen or not.)

5. The attraction force made by the metallic needle is so strong making the movements of life energy in the meridians become also very strong, and the force from the strong movements of life energy is quite enough to break through those meridian blockages, then, the sealf-healing abilities of the related and disordered area will be strongly enhanced supported by those breaking through life energy, then, people get healed.

From the above explanation of how acupuncture works, you may notice that the Life Energy is the fundamental basis, and the technique that we are coaching for people to practise has great efforts in increasing the total amount of Life Energy in a fast way, so that people could strongly enhance their self-healing abililty, and then, cure their chronic diseases by themselves. And another advantage is: Thinking about how much money have a patient paid and is going to pay for the medicines and treatments from doctors and hospitals. Practise this techinque, No spending of a peny on that.

By the way, Guillaume, you recalls me a recent "Miracle" here with us in China whoes tinnitus has gone for practising only 43 hours under long-term model (practise three times a day). I attached her feedbacks in the pictures in which the underline sentence saying: the tinnitus has gone. I suppose you can read Chinese, but if not, you may have your friends for help. See, a disease that western medicine and treatment can not help, but healed by a measure which science can not expain.

It's funny you're making this assumption, but ... no! But I think I have an "asian way of thinking", I'm reading it's called dialectical thinking.

Anyways, yes, for tinnitus, it's a small miracle because it can be very annoying. But when I searched for solutions, I found many testimonies of people who could solve it. Causes go from kidney stones to vagus nerve excitation, pancreas problems, chronic ear infection ...

Yes, one symptom may come from different roots, and one of the advantages of this self-healing technique that we are coaching is that we don't need to know what is the root, and when the life energy was increased enough by practising, it will find the root by its self-intelligence making the self-healing ability of the root area to be strong enough to heal itself.
