John you saying you used to play on the tracks. I Dont know if your tracks are the same as here,
we have got tracks that you cant see, Last year two young girls were killed on them one was running across lost her shoe she went to retrieve it and got hit.

some of the tracks here are hidden by banks so you cant see them but people are always getting near misses on them

The tracks I played on you could see.

Where I would play, there were no houses so I could do whatever I wanted to do. That almost became my downfall. This happened before I went to 7th grade. I was playing on a railroad trestle as I saw the train approaching. Being I loved watching westerns, especially the characters would wait just before the train would hit them, they would jump off the trestle into the water. I jumped after the train got on the trestle and they were blowing their horn frantically. Good thing when I jumped it was feet first: the water depth was something like 10-12 inches. After that 'leap of faith', I decided to drag myself home.

When I went to school, we drank milk and if we wanted, water. Fountain drinks was void to us. But then, the school I went to was a small school at the edge of a small village. And virtually everybody that attended my school came from rural areas.

I remember when the shops were not self-service where you got to serve by human being and not a verbot a robot
I try to avoid going to sell service because I don't like them I don't like being served by robots

When I went to school we had milk then we were all put on a big mattress in front of the fire to sleep, if we wanted water it was in a fountain to,
but I live in a place that was and still is Rural.

I prefer to get served by a person not the self check out things.

I remember in kindergarden we had matts to sleep on. I can't remember what they were made of nor how they were stored.

Our teacher would give us some milk and cookies before we took our nap.
