Very confusing response. It is known as observation and observation affects reality. Consciousness is observation. Sight is also observation, hearing and so on. When all else blocks observation consciousness cannot be and is that consciousness, thought. Thought is both input and output.

The Magician's Journey in Consciousness, Part 1: Attuning to Love

Expressing oneself as a Divine Magician in human form requires attunement to love, and this is not just attunement to the human conception of love as an emotion, but to the actual Eternal Spirit that is Divine Love, which is beyond the motions of time/space.

This attunement may only be accomplished through acts of surrendering one's own fear, letting go of grievances, annoyances and defensive attitudes, all of which are within the individual's own mind, as these are not "external." As long as one points the finger of responsibility to another or others as the cause of something within one's own experience, he/she is bound as a slave to fear. [Refer to the images of the Rider-Waite Tarot card, "The Devil," as this perfectly illustrates the symbolism of enslavement to fear and material attachment.]

The only "fear-mongerer" ("devil") that the wise are interested in confronting and transforming is the one within the self-consciousness, for this is truly the only one which one may be "enslaved" to, the inner "tyrant" that one has created himself/herself. Thus, attunement to love is a matter of first becoming clear about where the "culprit" lies, which is within the mind of the "lower self," and then learning to forgive oneself for creating and perpetuating its illusory existence.

The only way to dissolve fear is to bathe it in compassion, thus ceasing to feed it with more fear, which is truly an act of self-love. It is only the act of feeding fear with additional fear (such as attacking it, running from it, hating it or resisting it in any way) that perpetuates its apparent existence. Remember, all acts of negation of love are fear-based; this includes the perpetuation of anger, attack, retaliation, jealousy, cowardice, resentment, etc. These are but some of the many masks of fear ("false evidence appearing real"). Through clearly understanding the inner cause of things, your greater attunement to love is assured.
