I like to be mind full in the morning, protection and cleansing during the day and open up and reach out in the evening.

I usually work rituals whenever I can fit them in. However if I know its an very long intense work I usually wake early, before dawn, when I know no one including kids will interupt me.

Hi SpiralNature,
I suppose it would depend on how you construct your ritual. The time of day can be used as a focus tool to enhance your ritual. For instance if your intent is to end something you may do your ritual so that it takes effect at the end of the day. If you want something to grow you may do it so it takes effect at the start of the day, much the same as using the luna and seasonal cycles.

Now that i have moved away from the need for focus tools it doesnt matter when i do my energy work. As long as it is a time where my concentration is not interupted by screaming kids, phone calls and knocks at the door all is well.

I perform my Rituals based on the position of the Planets and how they correspond to the days of the week and the hours of the day. I use all of this in respect to the phases of the Moon and what I am trying to achieve.
