I have only ever seen one major band (ie all others were small gigs for local bands) and that was the Vaselines, in Nottingham.
I used to go to see my mate's band play at a lot of their gigs, and they once played with Kasabian in Leicester, before Kasabian went big.

OMG! That must have been amazing! What a cool memory that must be! Was Richie Valens and the Big Bopper the supporting acts on this tour?

Kim Carnes was the first act of that concert...bleh...
I can't remember all the concerts I've seen because some of them were at campouts, woodstock wannabe concerts... like where I saw Benny Mardonis lol.'
I saw The STray CAts, Van Halen with David Lee Roth, The Who, Kansas, Foghat, Blue Oyster Cult, America, Lady Antebellum, The Police (twice), Dan Fogelberg (twice), Flock of Seagulls, Jake Owens, The Script, Shinedown (twice), Cheville, Ten Years, PUddle of Mud, Bruce Springsteen, Colin Wray (twice), Little River Band, Steve Lawrence & Edie Gormet LOL, took my mother in law to see them and actually it was a fabulous concert! Steely Dan...that's all I can remember right now, but there were more..

Some highlights I can remember:
Hearing voices in my head at Iron Maiden Seventh Son tour show. Never happened to me before or since.
Audience member being pulled on stage by invisible force coming from Guitar Wolf's hands. He definitely had some kind of Chi power.
Quintron playing his homemade light-based instrument that he invented.
Lightning Bolt, actually lived up to their name. Probably louder than a lightning bolt.
