Hmmm I usually do two deck reads mix and match, I change decks depending on the question or what type of read the seeker wants..
I'm awfully fond of my celtic dragon deck, its the one I choose for what should or can I do? Questions
The shapeshifter deck is better suited to address spiritual questions. ( same artist as dragon deck)
The feary ring deck addresses shadow issues brings the dark to light, at least for me, but its an oracle deck not true tarot.
The sexual tarot is great for relationship questions definately geared towards love and emotions if you can get past the visuals of sex...lol many find that difficult.
My goddess oracle is a constant in most of my reads they give a good inner focus foundation. What you can do for you.
I have the animal divine as well. I tend to use that more in regards to messages. Animal totems are a constant in my life so the urge to use them just isn't there.
I have more decks but those are my main ones.

Wow, I really didn't know someone could make use of so many different decks. I'm pleasantly surprised you have both Celtic Dragon and Shapeshifter. I'm a huge fan of both DJ Conway, for her writings, and Lisa Hunt, for her art. I own a couple of DJ Conway's books, and Hunt did the artwork for a number of cards in a few of my favorite trading card games :)
Though I can see how it makes sense to use a different deck for a different kind of question. At least it seems like it would make the readings clearer and easier.

I have always been fascinated with the stories of King Arthur and Camelot and found a deck 13 or 14 years ago called Legend: Arthurian Tarot Deck.

Lol I started tarot reading in jr. High, stopped for a time, but my first deck I didn't get, barbra walker deck, I only understood it after reading the icelandic sagas and german/norse mythology...
I do need a link to understand the decks. I often buy for beauty and wait to see what will open the decks for me.
Shapeshifter fell into my lap, on sale for six bucks at a half price book store. Lol they were my top deck til I got my dragons!

I used and practiced with my mother's Thoth Deck for years until I saw the Celtic Dragon at a store and knew I had to have it- not like some kid's "I want I want I want." More like, I knew I needed it lol.
That's pretty awesome for the Shapeshifter- 6 bucks!? And all the cards were intact?

Yes, book like new etc. I had to replace them as my cats knocked over a glass of milk with the deck to near...
Can't live without them!
Though lesson to me on storing my decks. Lol I do find the new deck seems to be more intune to my energy. A little odd but it was almost as if the other deck 'taught' me as I would get inspired to create my own reads, or mix and match decks etc. Something I never did before them.
If a deck captures your attention, pick it up. It may surprise you!

Hello
The deck I have choose me I never choose it. I can do visual Tartot Readings with NO cards in hand....that is a very traditional deck Wriate.....
SO when I was in a psychic store with a friend whom was going to get a deck I picked up a necklace for me Son....and was called to look at the card shelf. I picked up a Sacred Geometry deck and I was interested in the " images" on them. BUT that deck had no feeling to it. I put it back and was going to walk away......to have the feeling to look to the very back of the shelf. There in a simple box was the deck I have now.....
I will say I get some "Strange" looks when I pull it out to use.....but it is SO SO SO me....
The Halloween Tarot. For me its a connection to whom I am.....and I do amazing readings with it.
Lynn
