My reply doesn't make a lot of sense I misunderstood and thought you were talking about sleep paralysis when you weren't. Sorry about that!

I've been lucid dreaming for quite a while now and at first I had this happen once or twice. I also used to have false awakenings where I'd find I'd gone astral. The best advice I can give for this is to have a cue for waking yourself because your body often doesn't get the message that you're awake in there. For me, because I often find myself in sleep paralysis, I take deep breaths. It will get you out of paralysis because it's all you can really do, but it can also get you out of a lucid or astral experience as well if you set your intention to work. Having a good deep breath is a physical action and will bring you back to the physical quite well. Occasionally during the day, at first, I would take a deep breath and say "wake up" to set a bit of a pattern to it. Works every time...even if I'm awake and just need to be extra alert.
