Lots of grunting and groaning. Even the Indians looked like Zombies, along with everyone else. To much hacking, hewing, slicing and dicing, stabbing, chopping and cutting in the snow. The over reliance on the violent Zombie formula, almost ruined this movie.

So, you didn't like the movie? Thumb up or down?

I liked it! I thought it was pretty good, except the ending, it left me with questions.

I give this movie a solid "B". Thus thumbs up. Depending on formula to much, almost ruined a good movie.

Well, loosely inspired by true events... The movie version added a character that likely never existed. And Hugh Glass was driven by vengeance in the movie, whereas it was more like a "give me my stuff back" kind of thing in the real story.

Personally, I think they should've stuck to the real story and had Tarantino direct it.

I saw it last night. Loved the movie. People carried on about the bear scene but the horse seen was a bit much for me but I watched it.

I loved the scenery and the way they were shot. Things like that are close to my heart. good movie in my opinion.

As I said, depending on formula, almost ruined this movie. Hollywood needs to stop targeting the immature audience.

Maybe they'll do a remake some day.
