Nice to see y'all participating in this thread
I have a nice bar book on my Kindle reader and I have learned how to make the best margarita without using a mix. In the past that was difficult, but a good bar book will have tried and true recipes.
The title is: Ultimate Bar Book: The Comprehensive Guide to Over 1,000 Cocktails by Mittie Hellmich
I've learned some good drinks from it, but not enough to be even a party's bar-tender

Hi..OH I beg to differ.. I think you would make a very good party hist/ bartender ..... 1,000 cocktails to make you say? I think we would all be willing to arrive at your bar and sample several hundred of them LOL.. just for "experimental" purposes you understand ......As you know, we all support each other and if you need a few "guinea pigs" for your inventions , who are we to turn the other cheek ? ....

However, a good bartender has all of those recipes memorized and you don't want me trying that!
I did try these "drink-recipe dice" at a party once and the result were weird. The chai-recipe dice make better random results, but I'll get an image so you can see what they look like.
The following is everything represented on the dice:
Alcohols: vodka, gin, rum, tequila, and whiskey
Dry or Sweets: vermouth, triple sec, grenadine, bitters, orgeat syrup, simple syrup
Sodas: cola, tonic, club, lemon-lime, ginger ale
Fruit Juices: orange, cranberry, lemon, lime, grapefruit, pomegranate
Garnishes: lime slice, lemon twist, pearl onion, olive, cherry, orange twist
Herbs & Spices: basil sprig, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, mint sprig, sugar
Methods: shaken, stirred, poured, blended
Barware: double old fashioned, martini glass, highball, collins
So, plenty of combinations, but you have to figure out amounts, and that can ruin a good drink if too much of one and not enough of another.

Okay, I did!
The instructions say we can remove two of the die to refine the recipe to something better, so here's what I rolled and my recommendation for what to remove (maybe we should figure out how to turn this into a game using online random dice-rollers):
Gin
Orgeat Syrup
Cranberry Juice
Salt
Club Soda
Orange Slice or Twist (garnish)
Stirred
Serve in highball glass.
I'd remove the orgeat and salt for a tastier cocktail, and stirring is good to mix it all with the soda.
I don't have any cranberry juice on hand, but do have grenadine, so I might try this one tonight

Orgeat (pronounced 'or-zat') is a syrup made from almonds, sugar, and rose water or orange flower water. You can find recipes for it online :)
Grenadine: a sweet syrup originally made from pomegranates from Caribbean island of Granada. Its primary purpose is to add sweetness and color to a drink.
I just went through all of the ingredients on the dice and numbered them. With an online "dice-roller" you can then roll your own, though it's not as easy as rolling the physical dice. There might be a way of rolling eight-dice at once at the online site, but I'll have to look into it further.

Oh my goodness.. it all sounds rather complicated!!! Now I DO like almond flavour. But rose .... No no no.... Would send me berserk .... But then again you mention pomegranate, which on the "surface" i think would be be a bit of an "acquired" taste in its own... I am, however , willing to "overlook " that fact , simply because it is very good for us, and therefore we should strongly consider putting it in a cocktail , and then we can " pretend" we are being healthy ?..
