I suggest phoning to make an appointment isn't at all frightening so just start by doing that and the rest should sort itself out... and ....the longer you put it off the worse it'll be and the more it'll cost, so .... well you know what they say about the now.

I want you to know that I was in the chair for almost 2-1/2 hours!

But, because of my ability to meditate, even in a very rudimentary fashion, I didn't get all emotional and weirded out and scared (well not much anyway). I have this forum and those who share their experiences and advice about meditating.

what is eft? And yes maybe I need to start researching whose good dentists and such and who does good work and is sensitive to people who are afraid. I will aim to do that by the end of next week (this week is thanksgiving and really busy) but by the end of next week I will have a dentist that I will have fix my teeth, then a week after that I will talk about the cost and payment plans if possible then within a month I will have it repaired.

I like using the dentist as a meditation, I set there and project myself out of the body and usually into a nice picture that most have in their surgical these days. I see myself in the picture and what is going on with the body I normally don't feel much at all, in fact I usually tell them not to give me the needle as I don't like the numbness, they think I'm mad lol.

I'm sure the dentist and his helper thought I was unusual...the dental assistant asked me at one point, "were you falling asleep?" She acted like she couldn't believe it, I said yes...
When the dentist was done doing his thing, she was doing the cleanup of glue gunk from around the teeth and I was noticing her hair and I asked her at one point, how do you make your hair look like that, again she looked at me like I was crazy, LOL. I was very relaxed from meditating during the procedure. I don't know how I'd survive without it.

You are very lucky that you have experienced no pain, so far. Sometimes a cracked tooth can be painful.

Dear, you're driving yourself carazy with that talk! You're talking yourself right out of doing what you know you should do. What if your hubby or your kid needed to go to the dentist? Would you say, well, if you don't wanna go, it's ok we won't force you.
