Being Invisible

Lots of good answers, I hear you and often feel the same. My issue is I can be talking to someone and someone else comes along and barges in and what I was saying is drowned out. Oftentimes, the person I was talking to gives a half-baked apology and asks me to carry on.

I decided this was unacceptable and recently found myself just stating that it was no longer important. I realised at this moment that I was redefining the energies I was exerting, that I wasn't going to be treated as invisible, unimportant, second best, disposable, convenient and so on.

It takes some doing, and also judgment as there are sometimes occasions when it makes sense to show a degree of humility. But as a rule, if someone doesn't want to talk to me and choses another over me - so be it. It's not important.

What is important is my relationship with myself and that I am my number 1.

There could well be a karmic issue at stake, or indeed something you / I (many of us) have decided to learn. I am sure it is cyclical - and that the more it happens, the more people retreat as preservation and the more invisible they become.

Some people just need to be heard/seen/center of attention more than I do. That's cool, I want them to get what they need on their journey right now.
