How do people "Predict" the future?

First there are two separate things that beginners and most intermediate practitioners confuse.

The first is prophecy which is a prediction of the future which is mostly based on the recent trends from the past and direct or provided insight as to how that might play out in the future. This is what most popular psychics practice. The basis of this is not so mysterious. Throw something (carefully) into the air. Well before it hits the ground predict where it will land. Chances are you are pretty good at that. Those with extra senses have an advantage in such matters are they can get a clearer picture of where things are headed. Prophesy is still an educated guess and thusly often completely wrong. Also sharing such a prediction allows that future to be altered before it arrives. Almost everyone can be somewhat effective at prophesy.

The second is seeing the future. There is no prediction, that which was seen has already happened even though the date of happening is in your future. The future HAS happened, is just because of your time limited awareness, you don't know what happened. There are various mostly advanced ways to switch to a timeless mode and see all that happened. Those advanced abilities and skills are not common on Earth so this is a rare occurrence.

Hmm...I have had readings from psychics and tarot readers in the past. Most of them though, it's hit and miss simply because the future is CONSTANTLY changing, it's not set in stone. Also knowing the future changes the future. I think psychics, tarot and etc. show possibilities of what might happen in the future because the future is filled with possibilities but ultimately in the end it's up to you & your decisions that will create the future. As to how they know, I honestly don't know, I'm learning just like you.

This is very true Emvee. I think that is not a good idea to depend on psychic readings exclusively. A reading can offer much guidance and to help you much, but your future is in your hands. You create your future with your thoughts. Is better to follow your heart and desires, not matter what a psychic/reader will tell you.
