"my dog is far better off in my house than he is roaming the streets."
Probably eats better food than you, too. Laws concerning pet food much tighter than for human food.

I never go to a mcd's, only on verry rare occasions. KFC ~ nah, try Popeye's ~ now that's good eatin' (the skin and the chicken (nice & spicy) ~ but you can have their cole slaw. KFC's does make great cole slaw though, just like grandma's, lol.

Ha ! They all fade into insignificance by comparison with a traditional English Indian curry house

Priceless and fabulously eccentric ! I hope they win their case. Damages to be awarded in fish presumably

Yeah go PETA, yay!
http://www.petakillsanimals.com/
Or maybe not. Point being PETA is not the beneficent organization they seem to be -- Not to mention, couldn't the sheer amount of money they are spending on this frivolous gesture go to more useful areas? Finding more homes for strays so they don't have to be killed? Creating more no-kill shelters for the same purpose? I worked in an animal shelter, as a vet tech and was part of the humane society -- I can tell you that no-kill shelters are not that common and many more are needed -- Much more than a show-case trial for whales.

Scibat imagine if they pull it off, if whales have human rights then that ruling might spread to stray pets and how they are killed or if they are.
