My birthday's coming up and my best gal-pal is going to gift me the Green Witch Tarot!
For the first time in yonks I'm actually looking forward to getting a year older, haha.
I can choose another pressie, as the man in my life asked me what I'd like and to let him know. And now I'm stuck. Yet another card deck is a bit silly.
I'll come up with something. In the meantime really looking forward to the Green Witch Tarot!

Well I caved in and got The Good Tarot (managed to get it for £7). I felt, after the diverse opinions on it, the best thing was to get it and make up my own mind.

The artwork is, of itself, beautiful but, meh! Really undecided about it. It's definitely not Tarot and I really don't agree with some of the artistic choices, some seem better suited to be other cards.

For now I'm seeing it as a structured oracle (I'll be doing a full review on my blog, but as it was so cheap I'm not gonna be too upset if I regret my decision). Its just a shame that I can't trim the numbers and card titles off.

7 Pounds is indeed a good price! Hope you're going to enjoy it, even though it is a bit of an odd deck.

I've decided to ask my partner the Earth Wisdom Oracle deck. I saw it, the Celtic imagery and symbols, I almost went into trance right away.
I have strong affinity with the Celtic stuff, past lives and so on. I fell in love on the spot. It's barely released, it's for sale on Amazon, even though it says "May 8th".
The Dutch version of Amazon (not amazon itself) won't have it till the 8th, and may not even have it in stock then. Often they have to order it from... UK? USA? So it may take an additional 5-7 days.

But dang, do I want that deck! Only 32 cards which I think is a shame, but it's not all that expensive either.
I still haven't landed, lol. The card with the woman and the wolf in a snowy landscape... phew...

Seems like I'm really going back to my pagan roots of late.

@ fairycrystal people are asking me what I want for my bithday. I guess I could ask them to get me tarot deck

Pisces Moon! I had a feeling you would buy it

You can't beat the prices of her decks, really. They price them well. The good tarot has extraordinary art, I am most taken by the air and water suites. I will eventually buy it, I just don't see it bringing much use than it being a collectors item for me personally. Kind of like the shadowscapes tarot, its a' feel good' uplifting deck. Still, I want it too! ;p

I am still waiting for Ciro's Leno's, thinking they will restock around mid summer, that is when most American retailers do mass inventory to prepare for the Christmas stock.

Oh lastly, Legend: The Arthurian Tarot-2002. keeps showing up on my instagram feed, I am really starting to fall in love with it. On my wish list.

Oh the images are quite lovely. I always loved stories on king arthur, I have an oracle deck on the same, but well this one looks interesting. Will check this out

Pictures are a tad large, but they don't make the forum explode, so I guess it's okay....
The one with the woman and the wolf (Inspiration), wow! And the one with the Celtic Cross (Boundaries) really hit me!

Fairy, good gawd....they are SO big!!! lol.., I use post image, you can literately load up to 5 URL's at the same time, you dont even have to sign up..

Anyways, I LOVE them, especially the wolves accompanying the ladies, 11 ish bucks on Amazon ( usa), not bad at all, definitely on my wish list
