Joe, yes to the connection.
To me it means "God".
And if only he hadn't rested on the 7 th day, but instead plucked a couple of apples from the sacred tree and made an apple pie to present to Eve, she may not have therefore been tempted and things might have turned out VERY differently !!!!
But whatever way you look at it, at great quote .

...On "highway to heaven" the earth angel was summoned back up to the pearly gates because his assignment was a difficult one.
The earth angel asks "is this even going to be possible ?"....
He was told ....
" You're an Angel...Wing it.."

I recently delved into Van Gogh’s life and found myself deeply resonating with these quotes:
“I dream my painting and I paint my dream.”
“...and then, I have nature and art and poetry, and if that is not enough, what is enough?”
-Vincent Willem van Gogh

It's better to light a candle than get mad at the dark.
Someone correct that for me!

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

I'd say, romance and music.
( And fine foods and wine, a doggie and the Presence of the Divine.)

Life is like an elevator.
On the way up you let some people off.
