You mentioned "keep your eye" which reminds me, I am having a hard time typing this. I can't see what the time is on my computer no matter how hard I try. Around the beginning of the year, I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy. I went to my dentist one day and while he was working, I felt a sharp pain in my mouth. I went to urgent care and they sent me to a specialist. I saw two different eye specialists and then went to the emergency room: they all said I had bells palsy. It finally cleared up and then I went to the dentist again. I felt one or two more sharp pains in my mouth and now it seems to be in both sides of my face. What the dentist had done was put implants in to my mouth. It wasn't the implants that seemed to cause the problem but it was the teeth attached to the implants.

I know how you feel john with your eyes.
I have had both cataracts done had Lazer on my Left eye now i need it on my Right eye.
Its annoying

I think the issue is that he was given an rx strength of potassium chloride which is usually 500mg per tablet along with the diuretic. The diuretic was probably too strong as well. Diuretics deplete more than potassium from the body. Diuretics wack out your electrolytes and flush out any water soluble vitamins your body. And there should have been monitoring while he was on both. And insurance companies have no business prescribing meds or making medical diagnosis. John, you have a lawsuit here and you should consult a lawyer about suing your insurance company.

Bananas have about 300-400mg of potassium per banana. The rx potassium meds have a much higher dose. The one's I've seen are like horse pills and are about 1,000mg per tablet. And they're extended release and hang around in the body longer than the potassium from bananas, probably.

I've never heard of impact scars before. Is this an actual, visible scar on the skin or heart? I know deep emotional trauma can affect the heart and cause heart attacks. Dying from a broken heart is a real physical phenomena. The emotional pain causes physical change in the heart and triggers heart failure.

If you're taking cinchona for leg cramps, have you tried magnesium or even topical magnesium cream? Magnesium helps relax muscles.

Lawsuit?
Last year, I did sue my health insurance over a different matter.

I got a settlement while at the same time seeing how the insurance companies and their lawyers 'lie thru their teeth'.

In my area, it is hard to find a lawyer who will represent you over such matters.

As for regular blood test to test potassium levels: Generally the only time I would get a test would be if I went to the emergency room for cramps.

Since the pandemic, medical care has seemed like it is now at the bottom of the hill.
