Hi Just Because...a recovering pest???

I was just laying here in bed, even though it's only little bit after 11 but I am not sleepy at all. I was so wiped out and tired, I thought I could sleep...nope...I dozed for maybe a half hour, woke up wide awake. darn.. So sure let me know the company and product name.

You do physical labor now like a 25 year old. you are probably 28 now hahahaha..

anyway, sounds great! What's the stuff???

I'm always trying too hard to help people, including people who didn't ask for my help. Many people just don't like that, and I end up running them off. I'm now in Pests Anonymous.

I've not had that kind of problem, except when some dream wakes me up in the middle of the night with my heart pounding. My thoughts then kick into high gear, so I do deep-breathing exercises for as long as it takes, which is usually faster than not doing them at all. Wearing foam-rubber earplugs in recent years has also helped a lot.

I wish! Twenty-eight was my best year (and I still looked 21, too). You must not have seen my new post in the Soulmates & Twin Flames forum. My age: Add 30 to 25, and you have it, but I truly do feel as healthy as I did in my late 20s. If I exercised more or had a physical-labor job, I would be in peak condition. But even when I do no physical work for days at a time, I dive right into hard work and never get winded. I just keep on going. Prior to my taking those supplements that I started in 2011, I would get easily winded if I hadn't done any physical labor in a long time.

Actually, counting while doing deep-breathing exercises does help keep the mind from wandering! You count so many seconds while breathing in, so many seconds while holding it in, then so many seconds while exhaling slowly.

So...12:40 and I'm still wide awake!

Just Because you sound like a good man and probably more people should be like you. But yes, sometimes you have to respect boundaries of others because some may not know how to take it.

I've always had sleep issues...and usually I can fall asleep okay but wake up 2 hours later if that...usually one hour...and then I will pretty much just doze on and off all night until around 4:30 or 5 and then I will be dead to the world and soon I have to get up and go to work or go for a run. Sigh.

You sound like you are doing really well! Taking good care of yourself and all...and maybe by tomorrow night this time you will have figured out how to pm someone hahaha!

I know. I wouldn't like someone if he/she pestered me the way I pester others.

To tell the truth, I did exaggerate just a little bit for the sake of humor. I'm not really that much of a pest, although I do have my weak moments.

Interesting alternative to counting sheep, which the last time I tried doing so .... didn't help me at all, lol ....especially when they started tap dancing round my room !

Go to Google and type "breathing exercises sleep" (without the quotes). After you get the search results, click on the "Videos" link at the top. There are lots of how-to videos.

I should have thought to mention this to Sarian, too.
