SKY. Yes he’s brilliant! The place is choca bloc when he is the speaker. I went to a retreat of his many years ago and it was great. He’s getting on a bit now and doesn’t do as much.
Hey I see you live in the UK and obviously interested Buddhism. Have you ever been to the Buddhist centre in Manchester. It’s brilliant. Every time I went to the UK to visit my mum I used to go there on a Friday night to their Satsang. Brilliant.
I tried the one in Liverpool but it was no were near as good. Pretty boring really.
Just thought you might be interested.

I understood it immediately and it's quite profound.

I haven't been to the one in Manchester Red. My Sangha is in Sefton Park which I use occasionally and one in The Lakes which is beautiful.
Have you read AB book, ' Who Ordered This Truckload of Dung?' It's hilarious but full of wisdom..... You can download it in PDF free of charge.

SKY
Yes that was the one,I went to in Sefton Park. It was about 10 years ago so it probably has changed a lot since then.
Friday night in the Manchester one is well worth it. I used to get the train from Lime Street. It was easy.
Haven’t been to the Lakes one.
That book sounds like my kinda read. Will see if I can track it down. Thanks.
Another good one similar to that was The Monk who Sold his Ferrari.

Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

Thanks Red, I've just downloaded a Sample to my Kindle from Amazon. I noticed the Author has written quite a lot of books, I might get a few Samples and then I can decide which one's to buy.

Hey Sky why don’t you go to your local library and they can order it in for you free. I always go there first before I buy one and it can save you hundreds of dollars. Sometimes they can’t get it in so I have to buy it.
Occasionally I go to the local bookstore and make a list of all the books ide like to read and then give that list to the Librarian and she goes thru it to see which ones she can get hold of for me. Greatest free resource of the western world IMO lol
Just off the record. Ajan Brahms dad is a scouser. He told me that when I was on his retreat. Maybe that’s why he’s got such a good sense of humour. Those b……… scousers get in everywhere don’t they. Lol
