I loved White Lotus...''Messiah'' is interesting ...turns out it is more about the FBI investigating the guy,
which would really happen.

2 Movies:

1) "Nope" - Unique take on Unidentified Arial Phenomena

2) "The Stranger" - Crime/mystery.

Both had well developed plots.

"Nope" is fairly typical of American storytelling - nothing in the subtext and the characters are kinda one dimensional - but it's really well done, easy and entertaining, and it will not disappoint.

"The Stranger" is an Australian movie with a fairly dark mood and dry style, excellent acting and complex character development, and maybe it's not for everyone, but it's one of those that lingers with you long after it's done.
