Can we see God face to face in heaven?
In Christianity, the Bible states that God "dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has even seen or can see" (1 Timothy 6:16), but when God reveals himself to us in heaven we will then see him face to face (1 Corinthians 13:12).

I was referring to us as in the body, sorry should have elaborated.

Is it like nonduality "the interconnectedness of everything which is dependent upon the nondual One, Transcendent Reality," "the singular wholeness of existence that suggests that the personal self is an illusion?" I am nothing in some ways of seeing it.

And then what about the soul, do we have a soul in relation to nonduality, and then why did Jesus resurrect from the dead?

I have many questions, but as a baptized Christian I feel very tied into the Holy Spirit. This is a Christian thread after all so trying to remain as faithful to that as I can.

And it irritates me when people pull biblical quotes out of the bible without understanding the spirit of the bible and the deeper significance of these quotes. As a person deepens their faith in Christianity the bible takes on deeper significance, or so many have noticed, it can be very rich and deep in significance. Just as Jesus was always trying to show the spirit within the laws to the Pharisees. Like working on the sabbath, and what you can or can not eat.

Was the law made for man, or man for the law? Anyway getting off-topic now, I might see God in Heaven, that will be a big day! However... I will not be God.

And I don't care much for fanatical dogmatic views, God is love, but the laws are there to help guide us.

That works I suppose if you believe that the throne is a physical thing and that heaven is a physical place. I am reminded that God is Spirit so I am inclined to view more things symbolically.

God is spirit, and so much more perhaps. The source, the redeemer, master behind all creation, seen and unseen.

I don’t cower.. I believe we are truly powerful beings that are teleporters at birth and first existence… reincarnation is a blind of hell and I believe some where we have fallen from our power and grace- including our higher selfs.. my ego believes it’s like a king- but truly the vastness of the abyss I came from - a god… but only of my own kingdom in general I’m probably a prince, to the majority of me and being equally with others probably a person with infinite power … just it all seems to have fallen at the moment- won’t it come back—- I have jumped about 40 times and with inserts… seems to me something is working some where/ how else would we be able to travel- travel to the beginning light by just teleportation- time is in the fabric of it too… but once you have been in the flames your bound forever internally- until you meet that cool ice or snow- jumping is premature at the moment- does it make us god? Immortal at least- pseudo is the very fabric of todays inflictions …

I have never teleported anywhere, but I have witnessed the way the mind can bend the fabric of space and time through entheogenic substances, and deep breathing.

Reality truly is a mental construct, however a ground that always will be there in this life.

Well, it's not Christian exactly, but God is everywhere. Contemplative Christian mystics see God too, through prayer and deep renunciation. And truly I think more driven by the Holy Spirit. It's hard work. I was a cloistered monk at one time.

None of this makes me God, but a willful participant.
