Could you explain what these spiritual words mean to you please?
When I hear some of these words - I put together what people say about them.
What is said by dictionaries - that is too general and doesn't really apply to what many understand when speaking these words.
The reason I would like to hear what you say is because when I use these words - I apply my own understanding, and perhaps my use of them is incorrect.
I'd love to know what do you think of these words.
And that (below) is what I got so far from books and people (not my beliefs):
God.
This is a real being (without physical body), but He is male, an individual who lives in very very high place in havens.
This is the man who created everything single-handed and he controls the universe, answers prayers and judges people when they die. He is just and loving to all he created. He created humans in His image and some people think that He should look more like Jesus Christ, but older.
Faith.
This is something that we should believe without question.
Is this equal to 'belief'?
It is a very spiritual feeling and is inside everyone of us. It is something we know from inside and if we have this ability of faith - it suppose to please God.
Prayer.
This is the way we give thanks to God and ask Him for things to be done for us or others. We suppose to stand on our knees as a preference. (Why is this preferred?)
I try to avoid to use these three words, because of fear of being misunderstood. But sometimes it happens that I use them.
I think these words are enough for now.
Please don't think that I'm silly with these questions.
Even though I have my set of beliefs - I sometimes use these words and I always wonder if I'm incorrect in using them the way I do.
And here I go again. (By 'beliefs' I mean certain things that I know for myself are true and facts, but I can not prove them by physical means.) Would that be right to use the word 'belief' in this way?
