Waking dreams - involuntary flashes of visions
Hello all,
I hope you are all keeping well. I post here because I don't know of any other place suited for this topic? If it falls under a different heading, by all means mods, let me know.
For the longest time, I have had these dream-like visions. Theyvare simply flashes but every now and again I can hold on to them. They are solely visions of other worlds, as in other places that exist. Cities especially but sometimes raw nature. It is as though they are real and exist? I mean they feel real despite knowing they aren't present here in our "known world" as you might call it. Some of them are ancient or medieval, others are hyper-futuristic. Nothing that ever reflects the present day.
I love world-building exercises both as intellectual acitivities and as a way to exercise my creativity. I love imagining geographies, politics, civilizations, cultures, religions, economies, ways of life, etc.
Has anyone had similar?
