Perhaps you could intentionally seek out a further dream or confirmation in another way, to bring clarity to this situation (as you pray, this would be appropriate).
However, I wouldn't base an important life decision on just one dream, whatever the interpretation is. I think the matter should be settled in a way that is reasonable and brings you peace. Whether you should continue to pursue this relationship, or not, is a big decision either way.
Take care of yourself as you make a decision on this, and go steady. I am sure you will arrive at the appropriate conclusion.
