Accident at work -
Today I was cleaning the coffee machine it was in pretty bad condition lol but with a scrubber- it sprayed and went everywhere… there was a canvas bag and spray hit it- it’s white I didn’t say anything but it was an accident.. I tried wiping it but the damage was done I forgot to tell them as was leaving.. if they say anything Monday I will offer dry cleaning for it.. oops ..
I got paid for two days work today and I just finished my week in hand..
It’s not a good start I’m afraid
It was a terrible accident..
I feel awful..
Do you think I’ll loss my job over it???
I doubt it can be replaced.. either..

I would let your work know what happened and that it was an accident. I have broken things and I have always let my work know about it. I never lost my job. I felt awful but accidents can happen and things can get broken.

Yes I agree.... Never try to sweep things "under the carpet" .
Always go straight to your bosses and admit the accident .
I can PROMISE they will hold you in high regard of your honesty.
Plus, it stop you having sleepless nights worrying about it.

Everybody makes mistakes it doesn't matter who you are it was an Accident
Anyway the coffee machine should not have been left in the state it was in
It is up to the manager to see to that.

First of all do not blame yourself for doing that. Nobody is perfect.
I see that this is a normal place to work there. And you will stay there even after that accident so take it easy. There will be a new job in your future but not now. Later on.
I wish you all the best.

Well they didn’t notice, and all that worrying for nothing: no one has said anything yet.. gonna try scrubbing the wall today there’s been things in the way-
Funny thing is before I used the scrubber to clean the grill.. I said to my self to use a different cloth!!!
Should have listened to the self?! Have learned for the future now!!!
