Is God your father or your master?
Are you a child of God or his slave? How do Muslims view God?

Well, I am not a Muslim, but I feel like answering the question...
God is my "significant other"...my "better half" and one whom I tend to ignore a lot just in spite of myself because I believe I can do a better job without His help..
....and that's when my life totally falls apart and goes to hell.

Islam is a big religion. So answering what "Muslims" believe about anything is going to render a lot of answers.
I think you are asking about the concept of God in Islam, so that's how I will answer. Please let me know if you need more or different info?
Allah in Islam is no different than G-d in Judaism. Allah in Islam is different than THE LORD in most forms of Christianity because Islam does not believe that Jesus is THE LORD.
You asked about the concept of being God's Children? I do not hear Muslims using this analogy often, but I think if you ask them, point-blank, "Do you believe we ( humans ) are children of God?" They would answer, "Yes, we are all God's children; everything comes from Allah."
This concept of unity in Islam is called "Tawhid". Arguably it is the most important single concept is Islam. Tawhid is Unity.
Quoting Wikipedia:
"Tawhid (Arabic: توحيد tawḥīd, meaning 'oneness [of God]') is the indivisible oneness concept of monotheism in Islam. Tawhid is the religion's central and single-most important concept, upon which a Muslim's entire faith rests."
You also asked about being a slave to God.
I can answer this one simply: No, Islam does not view humans as slaves to God.
However, there are many good reasons for a person to ask this question.
If you need more data please let me know.

As there are a variety of Christian views on God. But we all agree that we are all children of God.
So i will just ask your Muslim view on things then. How important is Gods authority? Gods power? Gods judgement? Are they more important than his mercy?

I'm not Muslim. It's a good question, tho. I will share what I know; but I'm not sure that it will be credible without confirmation from another Muslim.
Here's what I did. I sent my answer to a friend for proof reading and feedback... and turns out I did pretty good with my answer. Here it is:
Question: How important is Gods authority?
Answer: Very important. a 9 out of 10. Islam technically translates to Surrender. Surrendering oneself voluntarily to Allah's authority is very important.
Question: How important is Gods power?
Answer: Gut response... it's a 4 out of 10. Allah is Omnipotent, but grants freewill and wants us, humans, to grow and experience failures and successes. If Allah is demonstrating Omnipotence all the time then that would interfere with freewill.
Question: How important is Gods Judgement compared to God's Mercy?
Answer: Judgement is a 9 out of 10. Mercy is a 10 out of 10. Mercy is always supposed to win. But the two are connected. You can't have Mercy without Judgement.
Mercy without Judgement is a free-pass.
