I love you
There was much more than this to the dream, but here's what I remember:
I was with my friend Clark, who I feel is some kind of soul connection. He hugged/held me and said, "I love you," and seemed kind of intense about it, like he was surprised to be saying it, followed by something along the lines of "everything will be all right." Then there was something about me doing Reiki on him, and after that I woke up.
It was ~3:00am so I quickly recorded what I could remember of the dream, and thought what a nice dream it was.
Then today as I've been thinking back over it, I'm wondering what it's really about. I didn't go to sleep feeling consciously worried about anything, so now I'm a bit concerned that the "everything will be all right" is some kind of advance notice/warning about something that's coming.
Or maybe it's just reassurance that he and I will get whatever our situation is sorted out, which would be nice.

I can easily see how one would be worried about the dream. If I can offer any advice at all (because I am a worrier) it would be to try not to worry. Worrying about something takes so much out of you. It leads to anxiety and you spend so much time trying to wrap your mind around something you will never get an answer for. Instead, spend your time cherishing your moments so that in the off chance something did happen, you remember all the good stuff and not months of worrying.

I would like to add that it is easier said than done. I know that for I have been there. It really isn't worth all the anxiety and fretting though :)

Hi Paper Princess,
The words "Everything will be all right" is a very common phrase in the spiritual realm that seems to precede the resolution of a concern/dilemma. This would indicate to me that Clark is letting you know that a situation that you both may have been concerned about has been resolved. I don't get the sense that its been resolved on the earth plane yet, but on a spiritual level, it has. The earth plane should follow soon. I hope this helps.

Thanks Sojourner2013! ![hug2](images/smilies/hug2.gif) This resonates with me. I hope that the situation will be resolved on the earth plane soon.
I had never heard about the "everything will be all right" phrase being common in the spiritual realm for that purpose, so that is interesting. I like it.
Thanks detectivehopeful--I do tend to worry a lot, especially when it involves people I care for deeply. I agree that it does take up a lot of energy and usually doesn't end up being worth it!
