Seperating yours and theirs

Hi everyone,
I have recently have accepted the awareness of thoughts / words / songs in my head that aren't coming from me and have been witnessing it happen when people are around me

So my question is - is there a way to decipher whether it is my thought or a thought i am willingly/unwillingly trying to receive

i usually experience a bodily feeling when i receive a thought that i believe isnt mine like a tingle/vibration in the upper body

.. try to sense the energy behind the thought, and follow the energy to it's source, if you want to know who sent it, although if it was another, it may have been unconsciously sent, but you'd still know it wasn't you. :)
