Self Love Rules The World

I have had many intuitive insights that self love rules the world. Not God love, but self love. It is like God is mainly self love and God love comes second. God is a being who mainly loves Himself. For all sorts of reasons like self preservation and conservative restraint. Do you reckon?

God is a Being that loves Himself. Yes!

As Meher Baba said, paraphrased: God is Love and Love must love...but since
God is the only One, eternal and infinite ...there is no one to love but Himself.
So He imagines there is another; the Lover and the Beloved.

Something along those lines...it has been called the Divine Romance by Paramahansa Yogananda.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

That's a great quote. People have different views about God, but for me God is this Infinite One who is Love, Peace and Oneness. Oneness is Peace is Love.

Loving: A Self-Realization Story

Loving one's self is loving God.
Loving others is loving God.
Loving life is loving God.
Loving is God.

The End.

We came into this world with unconditional love woven into the fabric of our being; it radiates from a new born baby, and along the way to adulthood many covered it up and diminished its glow. To feel love is one of the greatest feelings we can ever have.

Self love which is not narcissistic moves us back towards that love which came with us into this world. That same love which radiated from us as an infant is still with us today; all we have to do is bring it to the surface. Nothing that love touches remains the same.

In my opinion, the greatest love is right inside of us, untouched by this world.

Self love or Selfishness in day to day parlance is seen everywhere everytime .It's not bad . Also its not great. God's Self being universe He too is engaged in self-love /selfishness . Important is how one views self as and which self God really recognizes and prevails in the world.

How can we love another person if we do not love ourselves.

i dunno, there seems to be such a thing as love for others beyond the self.... otherwise what was jesus on about when he insisted on dieing for the sins of the world? Is that really something he would have wanted to do if he was focussed on getting things for himself?

Based on my own observation that very few have the energy to follow him down that road I would guess not...

which that is the whole thing i guess, this thing I've got going where I want things for myself so I set goals and try to reach them, often at the expense of those around me and then society has me saying that it is a good thing to be competing and winning... personally I still think it is a good idea, to just quit that and do without all the things I am told i should have sometimes. It hurts maybe not to get what I want, but, when I do that it seems like there is more room in my own life, for leaving room for what others want instead of recklessly wanting what I want... i don't know if such behavior is to be praised or not at this point (I really don't!) but I do know I'm grateful that things are this way now rather than the way I always lived before.

I pity the poor tortured souls that have only hatred in their hearts .
