foolish things
[No] for God selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is foolish to put the wise to shame, and what the world calls weak to put the strong to shame.
just wanted to say that in my opinion there is more to life than what is 'high' and 'glorified' or even to experiencing 'right feeling'. Whoever authored that quote out of the bible apparently had reason to put forth a similar hypothesis... so at least I'm not making up random thoughts that were never heard before...

Your random thoughts are not clear to me…….do you mean a quote was removed from the Bible and someone else inserted a different quote in its place ?

i quoted a bible passage at the top (in bold) and then commented on it.
This is in response to the oft-reiterated claim that spirituality means going 'up' into what is 'glorious' and 'desirable'. And can't be found any other way.
I was simply trying to state, that in my view, there is much much more to be seen than one can see by focussing solely on what people are finding it agreeable to focus on.
there are various chapters in the bible that seem to me to be cautioning against such behavior, but i only quoted one of them.
