Bullfighting to be shown during children's TV viewtime
Although bullfighting is declining in popularity in Spain, it is sad indeed to see that state TV in Spain is to restart screening bullfighting on TV. Yet what is worse - it is will be shown between 6 and 8pm, during children's viewing hours! I find it difficult to believe that such barbarity could be shown live whilst children are watching. This could instill the idea that killing animals slowly is acceptable as "entertainment". You can read about it here: http://www.globalanimal.org/2012/08/...evision/80523/

I would be happy to send them a letter, how is do so is my question though :P
I love Spain and wish to go there some day.. but I've seen the bullfight... it was very upsetting :( I wish to help make that change, and airing it (especially during those hours) is only going to make it more popular and seen as ok to kids, when really no creature should suffer in such a way.

Just noticed this post...
A strange decision to televise it at any hour! I've got a feeling that, if it goes ahead, it might turn out to be counter-productive.
'Tradition doesn't make it right'. In the face of condemnation by AR campaigners Spanish people might finally wake up to how barbaric and cruel it is.

My personal opinion is that bull fighting is a barbaric practice. I could'nt watch it.
